The Mortgage-driven Development Manifesto

We are uncovering better ways of making money from
software by doing it and hindering others from doing it.
Through this work we have come to value:

Timesheets and invoices over principles and ethics
Unmaintainable software over clean code
Contract renegotiation over a barrel
Unlimited overtime over a sustainable pace
Contracts that fall outside of IR35 over and over again

That is, while there is breath in our bodies, we maximise revenue from the items on the left.

Your Questions Answered

¬†Are you struggling to keep your code just on the wrong side of crappy? Are you worried that the software you’re working on might not lead to at least a decade of lucrative bug-fixing and support? Or maybe you just want to know where the smart Mortgage-driven Software Developers are holidaying this year?

My name’s Keith Bank-Account. I’m a fellow of the Institute of Mortgage-driven Software Development and a Certified Refuctoring Advanced Practitioner, and I know every trick in the book for keeping code nice and unmaintainable without attracting the attention of your boss.
